#VAGABONDZREVIEW: DELIVER ME - MELODICS ROCK

Some days ago Finnish thrash metal band Lost Society released their single called “Deliver Me”. It has become their second single released in 2019.

"Deliver Me" is a mixture of heavy riffs flavored by recognizible lead guitar part and supplied by powerful vocals.

The new stuff really surprised me from pleasant point of view. Earlier I was listening to their super-fast thrashy riffs and wild solos with their debut record “Fast Loud Death” and second album “Trash All Over You”. Then “Braindead” (2016) had become their first step to heavier sound. Of course we could hear the earlier albums influence (in “Rage Me Up” and “Hangover Activator” for example) but mostly they got heavier. Today their music gets more variety. The most impressive feature of the new single is melodic metal solos and cleaner vocals. I see, the guys are doing their best and keep developing inside their music style.

After listening to this year’s Lost Society music, I’d like to sum the things up. The first and the main one is the fact that they are growing up. The presence of melodic parts in their new singles is a step to upgraded sound which perfectly suits them. I want to headbang on their concerts even more.

The last but not least - nevermind the changes are coming - they stay Lost Society who have become famous as wild thrash metal band with hurricane shows, but now with the upgrade which absolutely suits their music. Stay thrash!
